We are looking for an experienced and versatile HR professional to provide a proactive HR partner service to the club’s corporate and commercial functions. Over the last two years, we have been on a journey of transformation of the HR function, ensuring it is at the heart of the Club, adding value, building the culture, and supporting business decision-making. This new role is a further step towards this vision. Working in a small agile team, reporting to the People Director, flexible four days a week, with one day a week working from home, this role will provide real stretch and autonomy. However, you will also need to be happy to get stuck in the day-to-day, including having oversight of the monthly payroll (prepared by the HR Assistant). Alongside HR business partnering, there will be the opportunity to get involved with projects and initiatives around engagement, performance and organisational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities * Partner with relevant business areas to provide a proactive end-to-end HR business partner service adapted to the team’s needs and culture. * Partner, coach and build the capability of managers to anticipate organisational issues and develop high performing teams. * Lead talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruitment strategies, and onboarding processes. * Coach, advise and support on HR related topics, including employee relations, talent management, reward and recognition, and performance and development. * Orchestrate new hire inductions, providing comprehensive onboarding and orientation. * Provide expert advice and deliver practical solutions around employee related issues. * Provide monthly HR data analytics and utilise data to identify issues, target people-related action plans and demonstrate impact. * Support in developing people plans, engaging, coaching and equipping managers to deliver top performance across their teams. * Proactively identify employee development needs and implement effective training and development programs. * Support the People Director on any HR projects * Deputise for the People Director as needed. You will be an experienced HR Manager/Business Partner, with a proven background in offering operational HR excellence, and successfully partnering with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver innovative commercial solutions ready to take the next steps. CIPD qualified, intellectually curious, with high EQ and the confidence to constructively challenge when required.
