Company Description

JTM Energy specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced energy storage systems in our facility in Wicklow, Ireland. We have a proven track record in reducing diesel generator operation on construction sites and similar off-grid applications by 80 to 90%, and now want to build on the delivery of our initial systems into the UK.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in the United Kingdom, for a Business Development Manager. The role involves identifying and engaging prospective clients, leading sales cycles, and building strong business relationships to drive revenue growth. Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing market trends
  • Developing strategies to meet sales targets
  • Preparing proposals
  • Delivering presentations
  • Collaborating with internal teams
  • Representing JTM Energy at industry events
  • Promoting our innovative energy solutions

Qualifications

  • Strong business acumen with experience in business development, account management, or sales
  • Background in plant hire/sales to the construction sector is an advantage
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Proficiency in market analysis, lead generation, and creating tailored sales strategies
  • Experience with energy solutions, renewable energy, or related industries is a plus
  • Experience and knowledge of grid connection procedures in the UK is also a plus
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage sales pipelines
  • Comfortable with public speaking, customer presentations, and attending industry events
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
