JTM Energy specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced energy storage systems in our facility in Wicklow, Ireland. We have a proven track record in reducing diesel generator operation on construction sites and similar off-grid applications by 80 to 90%, and now want to build on the delivery of our initial systems into the UK.
We are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager who will drive sales in the off-grid sectors initially, while developing on-grid behind the meter prospects.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in the United Kingdom, for a Business Development Manager. The role involves identifying and engaging prospective clients, leading sales cycles, and building strong business relationships to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyzing market trends
- Developing strategies to meet sales targets
- Preparing proposals
- Delivering presentations
- Collaborating with internal teams
- Representing JTM Energy at industry events
- Promoting our innovative energy solutions
Qualifications:
- Strong business acumen with experience in business development, account management, or sales
- Background in plant hire/sales to the construction sector is an advantage
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain client relationships
- Proficiency in market analysis, lead generation, and creating tailored sales strategies
- Experience with energy solutions, renewable energy, or related industries is a plus
- Experience and knowledge of grid connection procedures in the UK is also a plus
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage sales pipelines
- Comfortable with public speaking, customer presentations, and attending industry events
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
