Purpose of Job
The Senior Administrator is part of the Global HR team and is responsible for processing monthly and ad hoc payrolls across the group in multiple jurisdictions. The role also involves supporting the Senior Manager β Compensation & Benefits on projects such as acquisitions, global mobility, system implementation, and vendor management.

Role Overview
The Senior Administrator handles payroll processing, reporting, policy support, and project involvement within the HR team, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all payroll activities across jurisdictions.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
Payroll Processing
- Process multi-jurisdictional payrolls ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain compliance with local legislation and company controls.
- Manage data reports and adjustments prior to payroll processing.
- Record and process employee data changes accurately.
- Generate payroll reports and perform self-review before submission.
- Coordinate with third-party payroll providers, review their outputs, and escalate issues.
- Review payroll reports from outsourced providers for accuracy.
- Prepare funding reconciliations and instruct finance for payroll funding.
- Monitor bank accounts to ensure timely payroll funding clearance.
- Maintain payroll records and respond to payroll-related queries professionally.
Reporting β Internal and External
- Assist in preparing statutory returns and payroll documentation for audits.
- Support finance with payroll accounting and reporting queries.
Policies and Procedures
- Support continuous improvement of payroll functions.
- Analyze issues and recommend solutions.
- Assist in designing pay policies compliant with statutory requirements.
- Monitor legislative changes and incorporate them into payroll processes.
General
- Support projects such as acquisitions, mobility, and system updates.
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate within the HR team.
- Uphold confidentiality, GDPR compliance, and professional standards.
- Contribute to team knowledge and development.
- Adhere to compliance and ethical standards.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant qualification.
- 3-5 yearsβ experience in multi-jurisdictional payroll.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High accuracy, reliability, and trustworthiness.
- Experience with vendor and SLA risk management is beneficial.
