The role holder will provide operational support across the JTC GAS UK LLP host AR / AIFM business in London, working under the supervision of the Operations Senior Manager and supporting the wider team across a range of business, control and process activities as required.
The role will involve supporting day-to-day operational processes, maintaining accurate records and controls, coordinating internal and external requests, and contributing to the efficient running of the host AR / AIFM platform. The successful candidate will build an understanding of regulated operations, governance and compliance requirements, and will be expected to apply company policies, procedures and risk awareness in all aspects of their work.
Main responsibilities and duties- Provide day-to-day operational support across the JTC GAS UK LLP host AR / AIFM business.
- Assist with the maintenance of accurate records, files, registers and internal systems in a timely manner.
- Support onboarding, periodic review and offboarding activities for clients, counterparties or other business relationships in accordance with internal procedures.
- Assist with preparing, collating and tracking documentation, approvals and information requests across operational processes.
- Support the team with monitoring shared mailboxes, responding to routine queries and escalating matters where appropriate.
- Coordinate meetings, action logs and follow-ups, and support the team in the effective execution of operational activities as required.
- Assist with management information, reporting, reconciliations and other operational tasks as requested by management.
- Provide support on internal projects, process improvements and ad hoc business initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business and provide assistance to senior team members in the delivery of their roles.
- Ensure tasks are completed in line with applicable risk, compliance, AML/KYC and regulatory requirements, as well as JTC policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional, organised and client‑focused approach to all work.
- Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required by management.
- Good educational attainment.
- Previous experience in an operations, client services, fund services, financial services or other regulated business environment is desirable.
- Good organisational and planning skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A developing understanding of operational processes and controls within a regulated business environment, or the ability to build this quickly.
- Ability to manage priorities, work with minimal supervision on routine matters, and deliver tasks to deadline.
- Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting a range of business activities.
- Commitment to high standards of professionalism, confidentiality and compliance.
