Role Overview
PURPOSE OF JOB
JTC uses a selection of industry leading technologies to assist with the onboarding, verification and ongoing maintenance of the investor records in accordance with global AML practices. A system specialist is required to ensure the correct and consistent use of these technologies across locations using them. The role will require the application of good governance of the system, application of system controls and supporting the business in fulfilling their duties by ensuring the system is set up and used optimally.
Main Responsibilities And Duties
- Ensure systems and processes align with internal policies and regulatory requirements, including AML, KYC, and data privacy standards.
- Support risk management and compliance audits by providing system access, documentation, and reporting as needed.
- Oversee the initial setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of onboarding and AML platforms.
- Customize system settings to meet business process requirements and regulatory obligations.
- Manage data migrations from legacy or external systems into the onboarding and AML platforms, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.
- Support the smooth onboarding of new investors and clients by configuring workflows and validating required documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proper system integration with other business applications.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users—including front office, compliance, and operations staff—on system functionality and best practices.
- Develop and maintain user manuals, process documentation, and knowledge base articles.
- Lead on new system and technology testing and implementation including delivery into the business.
- Monitor user activity and usage patterns to ensure correct, consistent, and efficient use of the platforms.
- Identify and address deviations from standard processes, reinforcing adherence to procedures through communication or retraining.
- Liaise with system vendors for troubleshooting, support, and roadmap planning.
- Work closely with compliance, IT, legal, and operational teams to identify and address system-related needs.
Essential Requirements
- Strong understanding of modern onboarding and AML system capabilities.
- Experience of onboarding and ongoing maintenance of investor throughout the lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of global anti-monitoring standards and ability to work to and understand regulatory jurisdictional differences.
- Awareness of FATCA and CRS Reporting.
- Experience in the application of control and governance programmes.
- Strong interest in system use, technology and administrative functions.
