ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB To assist with the management of the CI Financial Control team responsible forthe delivery of financial information for trading entities located in the CI (including monthly management accounts, analysis of MI, yearlystatutory accounts preparation, audits and financial corporate governance).

  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Preparation/review of monthly management accounts.
  • Preparation/review of regulatory returns.
  • Preparation/review of year-end statutory financial statements under relevant accounting standards.
  • Supervise & coach team members.
  • Create and manage workplans the team.
  • Manage the running of audits of regulated entities (at both interim and year-end), liaising with auditors on accounting and reporting issues and managing audit deliverables and queries to ensure that filing deadlines are met.
  • Process monthly salary bookkeeping and reconciliations.
  • Take ownership
    of liaising with external tax providers with regards to relevant filings to deadline.
  • Adhere to JTC core values and expected behaviours.
  • Adhere to Risk & Associate Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold a relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA).
  • Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of accounting standards (UK GAAP and IFRS).
  • Experience in financial statements preparation.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Management/supervisory experience.
