We’re looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial management on a number of high profile projects across the region. You’ll gain hands on experience across the full project lifecycle, with clear opportunities for professional development and progression. Responsibilities * Help prepare monthly payment applications and client valuations * Measure completed works and maintain accurate quantity records * Support NEC and FIDIC contract administration, including early warnings, compensation events, variations and notices * Prepare subcontractor and supplier enquiries, tender evaluations and purchase orders * Assess subcontractor payment applications and maintain their accounts * Contribute to monthly CVRs, cost reporting and forecasting * Work with site teams to capture changes and protect entitlements * Support client and subcontract final accounts Requirements * Degree, HNC or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or currently studying towards one) * Some commercial or construction experience is welcome but not essential * Understanding of measurement and valuation principles * Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills, with attention to detail * Proficient in Microsoft Excel * Full driving licence Desirable * Familiarity with NEC3/NEC4 * Progress towards RICS or ICES membership
