Job Title: Senior Special Effects Technician
Location: London

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze scripts to determine required models and effects, including pyrotechnics, and collaborate with creative teams.
- Suggest post-production and CGI alternatives when suitable.
- Provide cost estimates and work within budgets.
- Attend pre-production meetings, focusing on safety and technical requirements.
- Assist in assembling and managing a team of Technicians.
- Oversee the construction and execution of models and effects.
- Coordinate safety protocols with relevant departments.
- Liaise with department heads to ensure necessary props and costumes are available.
- Ensure on-set coverage by a qualified deputy when needed.
- Work with directors and other creatives to safely set up and execute effects shots.
- Comply with HSE and COSHH regulations.
- Train and mentor team members.
- Maintain accurate work records and approve team outputs.
Pyrotechnics-Specific Responsibilities:
