Excellent Scientific Company based, just outside of Loughborough, are looking for an experienced Production Operative to join them on a 6 week assignment. Working from technical drawing, you will be required to hand assemble scientific measuring equipment.
Main Duties:
- Hand assembly of Scientific Measuring equipment.
- Printed circuit board assembly from technical drawings.
- Soldering and wiring.
- Potting and conformal coating of items.
- Quality checking.
- Completion on internal quality documentation and updating of records.
- Working on a number of projects.
- Working to deadlines.
Qualifications and experience:
- Working knowledge of technical drawings and working to them.
- Soldering and wiring experience.
- Good understanding of computers, with knowledge of using utilities such as Hyperterminal, would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO and company procedures would also be an advantage.
- Able to work on your own.
- Working to very high quality standards.
- Education to O level.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office would be an advantage.
