A fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Operative has been created to join my clients well-established team due to growth and restructuring within the company. This is a full time, 37.5 hours, permanent role The candidate will be operating in a busy environment and will be involved in a combination of receiving, packing, handling goods and all necessary shipping tasks. The candidate should be someone who is keen to learn, grow and have the enthusiasm to accept new opportunities within the company to further their career. Responsibilities include: * Ensuring that all goods that are packaged to a high standard, loaded correctly and match the relevant paperwork * Taking responsibility for all the company’s shipping and freight * Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures * Reporting any goods issues, damages or missing goods * Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy whilst maintaining equipment * Follow workplace health and safety rules when handling goods * Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules * Assisting with warehouse inventory controls * Treating goods with care and concern at all times Requirements: * Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, customers and suppliers * Flexibility to take a hands-on approach to tasks within the warehouse as required * Be able to work with heavy goods/items, work at elevated heights * The ability to work effectively * Excellent team-working skills to effectively collaborate with other members of the team * Basic computer literacy knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and in house systems * Honest and trustworthy * We are looking for a committed, reliable individual who is keen to learn * Full UK Driving License
