A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join my client's well-established team in a vibrant industry as a Warehouse Manager. The candidate will be operating in a busy, hands-on environment, striving to meet tight working deadlines, whilst frequently liaising with customers, managing sales enquiries and having strong communication skills. The candidate should be either someone who has been looking for a new sales opportunity, or has been working alongside or inside a sales team, or have a history within the hydraulic and/or commercial vehicles industry looking for a new opportunity.
Salary: Competitive
Responsibilities include:
- Building, promoting and maintaining healthy, long-lasting customer relations
- Management of price list, quotes, liaise with customers to maintain and improve business relationships
- Excellent time management skills to maximise their ability to reach goals
- Ensuring that all goods are packaged to a high standard, loaded correctly and match the relevant paperwork
- Taking responsibility for all the company’s shipping and freight
- Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures
- Reporting any goods issues, damages or missing goods
- Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy whilst maintaining equipment
- Follow workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
- Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
- Assisting with warehouse inventory controls
- Treating goods with care and concern at all times
- Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, customers and suppliers
- Be able to work with heavy goods/items, work at elevated heights
- The ability to work effectively
- Excellent team-working skills to effectively collaborate with other members of the team
- Basic computer literacy knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and in-house systems
- Honest and trustworthy
- We are looking for a committed, reliable individual who is keen to learn
- Full UK Driving License
