We are looking for a reliable and caring Minibus Driver to join our team in Ashfield Nottinghamshire (NG17). As a Minibus Driver, you will play a key role in transporting vulnerable adults to and from day centres, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey. A friendly nature and a caring attitude are essential for this role. As well as day centre work, you will also carry out an on-demand service and general routes.
The role is full-time working 37 hours per week with a Saturday rota set in place which is currently 1 in 4. An average day is usually 8am till 4.30. Saturday and over-time is paid at an enhanced rate of £19.89. You will be based at Sutton-in-Ashfield but at times will be needed to cover other day centres, mileage allowance is paid.
Key Responsibilities:- Working 37 hours per week (approx 8am Start)
- Work 1 in 4 Saturdays.
- Safely transport passengers.
- Ensure passengers are comfortable and secure at all times.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the vehicle as needed.
- Follow all traffic laws and adhere to company policies.
