We are on the lookout for a Welder to join our expanding client based in Shirebrook on a full-time basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment after 12 weeks.
Salary: £15.50 - £16.25 per hour (depending on experience).
Hours: 07:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday and 07:30am – 3pm on Friday.
The Role: This is a full-time role for a Skilled Welder/Fabricator located in Nottinghamshire. The Skilled Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for performing welding tasks including arc, TIG, and MIG welding, fabricating materials, and ensuring high-quality workmanship. Daily tasks will also involve reading and interpreting technical drawings, maintaining tools and equipment, and collaborating with the production team to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in MIG Welding techniques
- Strong knowledge of materials used in welding and fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Relevant certifications in welding and fabrication are beneficial
- Prior experience in the rail industry is an advantage
