Public Protection Officer – £15.56 per hour

JT Recruit is recruiting for a Public Protection Officer to join a local Authority based in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team making a real difference by helping to keep communities safe, clean and welcoming.

In this varied and rewarding role, you'll carry out visible patrols, tackle anti‑social behaviour and environmental crime, investigate incidents, gather evidence, work alongside partner agencies, and support vulnerable individuals. No two days are the same, and you'll play a key role in improving the local community.

We're looking for someone who:
  • Has excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Can remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Is confident working independently and as part of a team.
  • Has experience in enforcement, community safety, security, policing, housing, or a similar public‑facing role (desirable).
