Customer Service Advisor required for our public sector client.

Working hours: 09.00 - 16.00, Monday - Friday.

Office Based Role, initially until November, however could be extended.

The role will involve taking calls for their waste services department.

You will have recent experience of providing information and advice to the public in a busy customer service environment, preferably telephone based, and be capable of handling a range of situations with tact, diplomacy and empathy.

You will have excellent listening and communication skills, the ability to converse with all types of people, a polite and courteous attitude, and a commitment to providing excellent customer care.

You will also be able to work well under pressure with a minimum of supervision while ensuring consistency and accuracy, and be proficient in the use of software systems, with good keyboard skills.

Experience of working in front-line council services would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
