HGV Driver / Field Operatives required for our public sector client, to work from Croft at £14.50 p/h but may increase depending on experience.
Hours: 7.00 - 3.30 (Mon-Thurs), 7.00 - 3.00 (Fri); however, overtime is certainly available.
Type of Vehicle: Curtain sider, double decker, flatbed etc. Could be road mender or 10T tipper, depending on work issued.
Type of load: Usually tarmac, often hot if on the road mender.
Experience requirements: HGV is the primary ability to learn and being part of the team of maintenance operatives.
Manual handling is always a requirement (Rake / roller / brush).
Type of work: Generally depending on work, gang sets up in an area and they will be required to complete a series of tasks such as filling potholes etc. in that area with support from Traffic Management.
Operational work includes highways maintenance, anything related to tarmac, kerbing, and manual work.
