About the Role
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work with a major distribution operator based in the Burton-upon-Trent region. This operation runs 7 days a week across both day and night shifts, offering genuine flexibility whether you are looking for full-time shift rotas, specific fixed shifts, or weekend-only work.
Duties include:
- High-volume trunking and distribution work
- Managing planned delivery schedules efficiently and safely
- Performing standard daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintaining accurate digital tachograph records and POD documentation
Key Requirements
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong understanding of EU Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude behind the wheel
