Prestigious Electronic Manufacturing and Monitoring Company, based in Leicester are looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety Assistant to join them. The position is to assist the Environment, Health & Safety Manager in ensuring the company meets its legal responsibilities and maintain effective Health & Safety systems.
Therefore, you will be required to complete audits, write reports and keep accurate records. You must have excellent communication, IT and administrative skills, together with a practical and "happy to assist" attitude. Ideally you will have some previous experience, with IOSH and NEBOSH certificates and knowledge of working within a manufacturing environment. But if you are willing to learn and have the correct attitude, the company is very happy to train you.
This position is part of the Environment, Health & Safety and Facilities department, so you may be asked to perform other duties, so flexibility is also required and a willingness to help other departments. A clean driving license, together with your own transport is required, as you will be asked to audit other sites within the company.
