Our public sector client is seeking a SENA Support Worker Co-Ordinator to provide high-quality administrative and operational support across Children’s and Family Services. The role involves coordinating business support activities, managing records and communications, supporting meetings and reports, maintaining confidential information, and assisting managers with service delivery and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to specialist teams and Business Support services
  • Manage correspondence, inboxes, duty lines, records, and databases
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, minutes, and routine documentation
  • Coordinate meetings, venues, interpreters, agendas, and follow-up actions
  • Support managers with complaints, FOIs, data breaches, and performance monitoring
  • Maintain accurate financial, statistical, and service records
  • Assist with EHCP updates, contact arrangements, transport, and diary management
  • Supervise staff and support absence management and team coordination
  • Deliver excellent customer service to children, young people, families, and partner agencies

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong administrative and organisational experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
  • Experience producing reports, maintaining databases, and minute taking
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Experience working within multi-agency or public sector environments

Desirable

  • Experience within Children’s and Family Services
  • Staff supervision experience
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, GDPR, Health & Safety, and equal opportunities legislation
