We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their accounting career while gaining hands‑on experience across multiple areas of finance, including bookkeeping, payroll, management accounts, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, including processing invoices, receipts, and financial transactions
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Process and support the administration of payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor project financial performance, tracking costs, budgets, and profitability
  • Produce detailed sales analysis reports to support business decision‑making
  • Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing procedures
  • Support senior accountants and management with ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting

Requirements

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or currently studying towards a professional qualification (e.g., AAT / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Good organisational and time‑management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping or finance‑related roles
  • Experience with payroll processing
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and management accounts
  • Understanding of project cost tracking and sales analysis
