Our well established client, based in Staffordshire, is currently looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer on a full time, permanent basis

You are required to travel to and work at various locations within the UK, so a full, valid driving licence is required

You will be covering mainly the East & West Midlands

GBP37,000 – GBP40,000 pa, dependant on experience

Monday Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS and employment references.

Duties:

Electrical installations within both commercial and domestic properties.

Planned & Reactive Electrical Service & Maintenance.

1 and 3 phase power installations.

EICR Electrical Testing.

Energy-saving LED lighting upgrades.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years site experience (industry based) in completing Electrical Installations
  • Electrical experience within both commercial and domestic properties.
  • Good Knowledge and understanding of BS 7671 – IET Wiring Regulations
  • Excellent knowledge of Electrical services and products
  • Awareness of Health & Safety issues and the need for safe methods of working
  • Have a good eye for detail and highly motivated to succeed
  • Flexible approach:

Due to customer demands, the ability to work additional hours over and above contracted hours if and when required, where overtime would be payable.

  • Be part of the emergency call out team on a rota basis
  • To promote a positive and professional attitude to all customers and staff.
  • Self- motivated and able to work under own initiative as well as within a team.
  • Willing to undertake further training/development within the post as required.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with tenants and other members of the public.
  • Full UK (Clean) driving licence.

Qualifications Required

  • City & Guilds BS7671:2018 Level 3 – Electrical Installations
  • City & Guilds 2391 (2391-52) – Testing and Inspecting (previously 2394/2395)
