We are looking for a reliable and caring Minibus Driver to join our team in Arnold Nottinghamshire (NG5). As a Minibus Driver, you will play a key role in transporting vulnerable adults to and from day centres, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey. A friendly nature and a caring attitude are essential for this role. As well as day centre work, you will also carry out an on-demand service and general routes. The role is 22 hours per week, with working days on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday each week. An average day is usually from 8am till 4.30pm. Saturdays are paid at an enhanced rate of £19.89. You will be based at Arnold but may be needed to cover other day centres; mileage allowance is paid. Rate of pay: Thursday and Friday is £13.26 per hour and Saturdays are paid at £19.89 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport passengers.
- Ensure passengers are comfortable and secure at all times.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the vehicle as needed.
- Follow all traffic laws and adhere to company policies.
- Provide a friendly, approachable, and caring service to passengers.
- General bus routes / On-Demand service.
Requirements:
- A valid UK driving licence with category D1 (Minibus) or equivalent.
- DBS check required (must be DBS-friendly).
- A caring and patient nature.
