Van Drivers Required – South Normanton, Derbyshire. Our client based in South Normanton, Derbyshire is currently recruiting 2 experienced Van Drivers to join their growing team. This role will require you to stay out all week in provided accommodation.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for delivering pharmaceutical products to:
- Hospitals
- Chemists
- Doctors’ surgeries
Deliveries will be made across various locations around the UK, completing up to 25 drops per day.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of pharmaceutical goods
- Providing excellent customer service at all delivery points
- Operating company scanners (full training provided)
- Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times
Working Pattern
- You will be away all week
- Depart Monday and return Friday (occasionally Saturday)
- Due to distance, some runs may require departure on Sunday
- Accommodation provided nightly while working away
Pay Rates
- Monday – Friday: £13.00 per hour
- Overtime (after 48 hours): £16.25 per hour
- Saturday: £16.25 per hour
- Sunday: £26.00 per hour
- Additional pay for unsociable hours
- Night out allowance: £39.78 per night
Requirements
- Previous van driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
- Professional attitude with strong customer service skills
