The Opportunity
We are seeking a professional and highly dependable 7.5t Driver for a long-term, dedicated contract in Derby. This isn’t your typical multi-drop courier role; you will be working exclusively for a high-profile, sensitive client performing shuttle runs between local depots. Due to the nature of the client’s operations, absolute confidentiality and discretion are non-negotiable requirements of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Depot Shuttling: Operating back-and-forth runs primarily from the Wyvern Way depot to other local sites.
- Secure Transport: Ensuring all loads are handled with care and remaining with the vehicle as required by security protocols.
- Professional Conduct: Acting as a discreet representative of the company at all times.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting daily walk-around checks and reporting any defects immediately.
Qualifications
- License: Valid 7.5 Ton license with an up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Experience: Previous experience in shunting or local shuttle work is preferred.
