We're on the lookout for a Welder to join our expanding client based in Shirebrook on a full-time basis, with permanent opportunities after 12 weeks.

Salary: £15.50 - £16.25 per hour (depending on experience).

Hours: 07:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday and 07:30am - 3pm on Friday.

The Role: This is a full-time role for a Skilled Welder/Fabricator located in Nottinghamshire. The Skilled Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for performing welding tasks including arc, TIG, and MIG welding, fabricating materials, and ensuring high-quality workmanship. Daily tasks will also involve reading and interpreting technical drawings, maintaining tools and equipment, and collaborating with the production team to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in MIG Welding techniques
  • Strong knowledge of materials used in welding and fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Relevant certifications in welding and fabrication are beneficial
  • Prior experience in the rail industry is an advantage
