Plumber Social Housing & Public Buildings
Derby£17.01 per hourMonday to Friday | 8:00am 4:00pm
We are recruiting an experienced Plumber to join a busy Capital Works / Property Maintenance team delivering repairs, refurbishments, and new works across housing stock, schools, and public buildings.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Carrying out general plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Installing new plumbing systems and components as required
- Working within occupied properties and liaising with customers
- Completing job paperwork electronically or manually
- Maintaining accurate records for time, materials, and work completed
- Supporting other trades where required
- Mentoring apprentices when needed

You will be expected to:
- Work in line with all Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices
- Use PPE appropriately at all times
- Report hazards and incidents
- Follow data protection and confidentiality requirements
- Demonstrate a customer-focused approach
- Work with digital systems and new technology
Essential Requirements
- Relevant plumbing experience (repairs, maintenance, installation)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Full UK driving licence
