Our Client, a Local Authority based in Ollerton (NG22), is looking for a minibus driver to join their team. If you are friendly and caring and want to help the local community get about, then this is the role for you.
Pay: £13.26 per hour, £19.87 per hour for overtime and Saturdays
Hours: 4-week rotating shift pattern:
- Week 1 & 3: Mon-Fri: 6:15 AM - 12:15 PM (Saturday & Sunday off)
- Week 2: Mon, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Sat: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday: Off
- Week 4: Mon-Thurs: 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Sat: 06:15 PM - 2:15 PM, Fri: Off
You will need to clean the vehicle from 19:00 - 20:00.
About the Role: Your role is to provide flexible transport to rural communities. Bookings are made via app or phone. You will support passengers, including those with disabilities, with a friendly, caring attitude.
Key Requirements:
- D1 licence
- Enhanced DBS (provided if not held)
- Good communication and people skills
- Reliable and flexible with shift work
- Able to assist passengers and operate a lift/ramp
Desirable:
- Minibus or care driving experience
- Local area knowledge
