Our public sector client are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Customer Service Advisor to join them on a temporary basis. The role involves handling enquiries through the Council's contact centre, providing information and guidance, and processing customer requests on behalf of the Council and its partners.

Working Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm (30-minute lunch break)

Key Requirements:

  • Recent customer service experience, preferably in a telephone or contact centre environment
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to deal with customers professionally, tactfully, and empathetically
  • Strong customer care and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Good IT and keyboard skills
  • Accurate and consistent approach to work
