HGV Driver / Field Operatives (Someone with HGV with a little bit of Operational skills) required for our public sector client, to work from Croft.

£14.50 p/h but may increase depending on experience.

Hours: 7.00 - 3.30 (Mon-Thurs), 7.00 - 3.00 (Fri); however, overtime is certainly available.

Type of Vehicle: Curtain sider, double decker, flatbed etc. Could be road mender or 10T tipper, depending on work issued.

Type of load: Usually tarmac / often hot if on the road mender.

Experience requirements: HGV is the primary ability to learn / being part of the team of maintenance operatives.

Will there be any handball involved? It is Highways Operations; manual handling is always a requirement (Rake / roller / brush).

Type of work: Generally depending on work, gang sets up in an area and they will be required to complete a series of tasks / filling potholes etc in that area with support from Traffic Management.

What would constitute Operational work? Highways maintenance, anything related to tarmac, kerbing, manual work.
