HGV Driver / Field Operatives required for our public sector client, to work from Croft at £14.50p/h, with potential increases depending on experience.
Hours: 7.00 - 15.30 (Mon-Thurs), 7.00 - 15.00 (Fri). Overtime is available.
Type of Vehicle: Curtain sider, double decker, flatbed, road mender or 10T tipper, depending on work issued.
Type of Load: Usually tarmac, often hot if on the road mender.
Experience Requirements: HGV is the primary ability to learn and be part of the team of maintenance operatives. Manual handling is always a requirement (Rake / roller / brush).
Type of Work: Generally, depending on work, gang sets up in an area and they will be required to complete a series of tasks such as filling potholes with support from Traffic Management.
Operational Work: Highways maintenance, anything related to tarmac, kerbing, manual work.
