We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and hard-working Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a busy team in Derby. This is a vital role ensuring our community spaces are safe, clean, and well-maintained for everyone to enjoy.
The Role:
- Using a variety of grounds maintenance equipment (mowers, strimmers, etc.).
- Carrying out daily condition checks on tools to ensure they are safe to use.
- Following written plans and instructions to manage resources efficiently.
- Interacting with the public, contractors, and colleagues in a respectful and professional manner.
- Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety, including the correct use of PPE.
