About the role:
In this role, you will lead on developing and delivering engagement activities that empower children, young people, and families to influence how services are designed and delivered. Working closely with internal teams and external partners — including schools, community organisations, and voluntary agencies — you will help ensure participation is inclusive, meaningful, and embedded across services.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging workshops, consultations, and focus groups
- Support children and young people to take part in decision‐making processes
- Build positive relationships with families, partners, and stakeholders
- Gather feedback to inform service improvements and outcomes
- Promote best practice in participation and engagement across teams
- Contribute to audits, reporting, and continuous service development
- Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of work

- Experience working with children, young people, and families
- A strong understanding of participation and engagement practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
