We are looking for a reliable and caring Minibus Driver to join our team in Gedling, Nottinghamshire (NG4). As a Minibus Driver, you will play a key role in transporting vulnerable adults to and from day centres ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey. A friendly nature and a caring attitude are essential for this role. As well as day centre work you will also carry out an on-demand service and general routes. The role is part-time working 22 hours per week, Thursday, Friday & Saturday. You will be paid for 7.5 hours a day between the hours of 8am - 5pm. You will be based at Gedling but at times will be needed to cover other day centres, mileage allowance is paid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working 22 hours per week, Thursday, Friday & Saturday.
- Safely transport passengers.
- Ensure passengers are comfortable and secure at all times.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the vehicle as needed.
- Follow all traffic laws and adhere to company policies.
- Provide a friendly, approachable, and caring service to passengers.
- General bus routes / On-Demand service.
Requirements:
- A valid UK driving licence with category D1 (Minibus) or equivalent.
- DBS check required (must be DBS-friendly).
- A caring and patient nature.
Pay:
- Basic Hours £13.26
- Saturday Hours £19.89
