Location: Alfreton
Rate: £16.83 per hour + Overtime
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 5:00pm, Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We're looking for an experienced HGV Driver to join our client's team in South Normanton (DE55) on a 12 week temp to perm basis. You will be working Monday to Friday and making deliveries across the UK.
The Role
- Deliver goods across the UK using HGVs and company vans.
- Carry out vehicle checks and complete delivery paperwork.
- Load and unload vehicles when required.
- Support warehouse duties during quieter periods.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid CPC qualification.
- Previous HGV driving experience.
- Flexible approach to occasional overnight stays, early starts and late finishes.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable
- Forklift licence or experience.
- Warehouse experience.
Pay:
- £16.83 per hour.
- Overtime paid at 1.3x hourly rate .
