We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse operation based in Chesterfield (S42). This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term prospects for the right candidate.
The Role
- Working within a warehouse handling ambient, chilled, and frozen products.
- Loading and unloading lorries using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse.
- Stock replenishment and put-away duties.
- Using pallet pump trucks and other warehouse equipment.
- Assisting with general warehouse and manual handling tasks.
- Working across ambient, cold store, and freezer environments.
- Maintaining health and safety standards at all times.
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).
- Previous Counterbalance FLT experience.
- Comfortable working in cold, chilled, and freezer environments.
- Willingness to undertake manual warehouse duties alongside FLT work.
- Reliable, hardworking, and flexible approach to work.
