Position Type: Contract (with a view to moving to a permanent position after a few months)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

Key Responsibilities

  • Automated Analysis: Routinely set up, run, and maintain automated titrators to monitor process tank chemistry.
  • Chemical Testing: Conduct precise sampling and wet chemistry analysis to ensure strict adherence to technical specifications.
  • Data Management: Record, interpret, and report analytical data accurately, flagging any out-of-specification results to the production and quality teams.
  • Laboratory Safety: Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping and comply with all site Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and COSHH assessments.

What We Are Looking For

  • Education: A degree qualification in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a closely related scientific discipline is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Prior experience operating analytical laboratory equipment specifically auto-titrators is highly desirable (university project experience will be considered).
  • Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing support environment.
  • Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills for accurate data logging and team collaboration.
