Van Driver – Nationwide Deliveries Location: Alfreton (DE55) Pay: £14.50 per hour + overtime Job Type: Ongoing Temporary – Temp to Perm Agency: JT Recruit About the Role JT Recruit is currently recruiting a reliable and customer focused Van Driver for our client based in Riddings, Alfreton. This is an excellent opportunity for a driver looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position. You will be responsible for delivering windows to both residential homes and commercial properties nationwide across the UK. The role involves working shifts of between 8 and 12 hours , so flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver windows safely and efficiently to customers across the UK. Make deliveries to residential properties and commercial premises. Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally. Load, unload and handle windows safely, including manual lifting. Ensure deliveries are completed on time and in line with company procedures. Carry out vehicle checks and maintain high standards of safety.
What We're Looking For
A valid driving licence suitable for van driving. Good customer service and communication skills. The ability to carry out manual handling and lift windows safely. A reliable, punctual and professional approach to work. Flexibility to work shifts lasting 8–12 hours and travel nationwide. Previous delivery driving experience would be advantageous. Pay & Benefits £14.50 per hour Overtime paid at £18.85 per hour after 40 hours worked per week (1.3x basic rate). Ongoing work with the opportunity to go permanent. Nationwide delivery routes.
