Marine Engineer in Yarmouth

We are seeking an <\/span>experienced and highly skilled Marine Engineer<\/b> <\/span>to join a well -established marine services company based in Yarmouth. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and repair skills and be confident working independently on a wide range of leisure craft.

Key Responsibilities
<\/p>

• Carry out maintenance, servicing, and fault -finding on propulsion systems, engines, and general boat equipment.
  <\/li>
• Work on leisure vessels typically ranging from 20ft to 60ft.
  <\/li>
• Diagnose and repair inboard engine systems to a high standard.
  <\/li>
• Deliver excellent service and maintain professional communication with customers.
  <\/li><\/ul>

  Requirements
  <\/p>

  • Proven hands -on experience within the <\/span>leisure marine engineering sector<\/b> <\/span>(essential).
    <\/li>
  • Strong knowledge of <\/span>inboard engine systems<\/b>.
    <\/li>
  • Experience with <\/span>Volvo Penta<\/b> <\/span>and/or <\/span>Yanmar<\/b> <\/span>engines (highly desirable).
    <\/li>
  • Ability to diagnose, service, and repair mechanical systems confidently and efficiently.
    <\/li>
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Experience with outboard engines is beneficial but not required.
