We are seeking to recruit an additional Driller engineer with HGV License, to join our existing team working on construction sites across the UK and Ireland.

Duties will include:

  • Operate light drilling equipment, in order to carry out subsequent consolidation injections in the ground.
  • Work to a defined health and safety management system and understand what is required from themselves as well as other colleagues.
  • Understand specific drilling instructions given on site and carry them out efficiently to enable the boreholes to be drilled in a timely manner and on program.
  • Keep detailed records of daily activities.
  • Be part of an autonomous operational team led by a site manager.
  • Undertake daily pre-start and maintenance checks on assigned drilling rig, vehicle and equipment and record for submission to plant department.
  • Keep log of breakdown times for submission to plant dept.

Requirements:

  • CDCS Card.
  • HGV licence C (manual and auto).

We will provide:

  • Total package worth £35,000-40,000, dependent on previous experience. This includes a pension contribution.
  • Working Hours are 40 hours, Monday to Friday.
  • 21 Days Annual Leave + 8 Statutory Bank Holidays.
  • A focus on training, development and career progression.
