Develop and lead the company’s revenue optimisation strategies for ticketed events. Analyse sales trends, performance data, and demand forecasts to identify pricing opportunities. Recommend and instruct price changes to Ticketing Operations, ensuring actions are timely and based on robust data insights. Monitor the impact of pricing decisions on income, ticket sales velocity, and overall attendance. Produce regular dashboards, reports, and insights that clearly communicate opportunities and outcomes to senior stakeholders.
Revenue Management System Development
Lead the project to design, implement, and refine a new revenue management system that models demand, forecasts performance, and supports dynamic pricing decisions. Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the system meets operational needs and integrates effectively with ticketing and business intelligence tools. Define system requirements, testing protocols, and performance metrics.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with: Ticketing Operations to implement pricing changes accurately and efficiently. Programming to discuss pricing strategies that align with producer/promoter expectations and show objectives. Campaigns Marketing to understand marketing activity that influences demand, and to ensure pricing decisions complement campaign strategies. Facilitate clear, proactive communication with all stakeholders around pricing decisions, rationale, and expected outcomes.
Commercial Performance
Support the organisation’s financial goals by increasing total show income across multiple revenue streams. Balance income generation with audience development priorities by optimising pricing to maximise attendance. Identify broader commercial opportunities arising from audience behaviour, demand shifts, and performance patterns.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in revenue management, pricing analysis, forecasting, commercial strategy, or a related analytical role.
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in or around ticketed events, live entertainment, leisure, hospitality, or a similar demand-driven environment.
- Highly organised, with strong project management capabilities.
- Experience developing or implementing revenue management systems or tools.
- Familiarity with ticketing platforms and/or CRM/BI tools.
- Understanding of marketing campaign dynamics and their influence on consumer behaviour.
