Maintenance & Repairs<\/h3>Diagnose faults on construction and plant equipment<\/li>Carry out mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs<\/b><\/li>Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance<\/li>Ensure machines meet safety and performance standards<\/li><\/ul>? Equipment may include brands like Komatsu, Atlas Copco, JLG, etc. <\/p>2. Field Service Work<\/h3>Travel to customer sites to repair breakdowns<\/li>Respond quickly to urgent faults (downtime = cost for clients)<\/li>Provide on -site technical support<\/li><\/ul>3. Diagnostics & Technical Work<\/h3>Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics<\/b><\/li>Use diagnostic tools/software<\/li>Identify root causes of equipment failures<\/li><\/ul>4. Customer Support<\/h3>Communicate with customers about faults and repairs<\/li>Advise on equipment use and maintenance<\/li>Maintain professional service standards<\/li><\/ul>5. Documentation & Reporting<\/h3>Complete service reports and job sheets<\/li>Support warranty claims with evidence (photos, parts, reports) <\/li>Record parts used and work completed<\/li><\/ul>6. Team & Department Coordination<\/h3>Work with: Parts department (ordering components)<\/li>Service managers and workshop schedulers<\/li><\/ul><\/li>Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on time<\/li><\/ul>? Skills & Requirements<\/h2>Technical Skills<\/h3>Strong knowledge of: Heavy plant machinery<\/li>Hydraulics & electrics<\/li>Diesel engines<\/li><\/ul><\/li>Ability to troubleshoot faults independently<\/li><\/ul>Experience<\/h3>Experience in one of the following is usually preferred: Construction equipment<\/li>Agricultural machinery<\/li>Commercial vehicles or forklifts <\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>Soft Skills<\/h3>Problem -solving ability<\/li>Good communication with customers<\/li>Ability to work independently (especially field roles)<\/li>Time management and organisation<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/span>
