Overview

We’re seeking a qualified and experienced Lift Maintenance Engineer to join a Scotland‑based team. You’ll be responsible for the routine servicing, fault diagnosis, and minor repairs of passenger and goods lifts across commercial and residential sites within the central belt of Scotland.

Key Duties

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance on a variety of lift systems
  • Respond to breakdowns and emergency call-outs with efficient fault resolution
  • Complete condition reports and recommend upgrades or repairs
  • Ensure compliance with LOLER regulations and company safety protocols
  • Liaise with clients and site contacts to ensure clear communication and service delivery
  • Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule for urgent lift issues
  • Support junior engineers and contribute to team development
  • Assist repair teams with minor and major lift repair works

Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) – essential
  • Proven experience in lift servicing and maintenance
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available)
  • Minimum 2 years’ Lift Maintenance experience (preferred)
