Multi Skilled Technician - FMCG in Knighton

The Role:<\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

We are looking for an experienced multi -skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a member of the Engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring our production and site equipment operates at peak performance through planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and a rapid response to breakdowns. You will play a key part in driving reliability, safety and continuous improvement across the plant.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

· Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of production equipment.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

· Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement effective repairs.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

· Support continuous improvement projects to enhance plant performance.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

· Work closely with production to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

· Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS and ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

Skills and Experience Required:<\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

· Time Served Engineer with a minimum of Level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

· Multi -skilled with experience in both mechanical and electrical fault -finding.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

· Experience working in a fast -paced manufacturing environment.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

· Strong problem -solving skills with a pro -active approach to maintenance.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

· The ability to fault find and interrogate PLC’s would be advantageous.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>
