Industrial Engineer & Maintenance Manager
Location: Lancaster | Salary: £47,000 | Hours: Mon–Thurs 8:30–5:00, Fri 8:30–3:45
We are looking for an experienced Industrial Engineer & Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations and drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing facilities. This is a hands-on role combining maintenance management, process optimisation, and project delivery.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage maintenance operations, budgets, and preventive maintenance programmes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee capital projects (£500k+) from planning to commissioning.
- Ensure safety, compliance, and high operational standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years in maintenance management and/or industrial engineering in manufacturing.
- Experience with CMMS, project management, and process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma desirable).
- Engineering qualification (HND minimum; bachelor’s preferred).
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
