Job Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Gas & Plumbing Engineer to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering excellent service to customers while working independently and occasionally as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out gas engineering and plumbing work to the highest standards.
- Work independently to meet targets and deadlines, and collaborate with the team when required.
- Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
- Respond to weekend call-outs on a rota basis (approximately every 4–5 weeks), paid at £33 per day standby and £30 per hour for hours worked.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed.
Essential Requirements:
- Time-served Gas Engineer / Plumber.
- Strong focus on customer service and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
- Full UK driving licence.
Working Hours:
- Standard hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, with occasional flexibility required to complete jobs.
- Weekend call-out rota with additional pay as listed above.
