The Role:
You will be involved in the hand fabrication and TIG welding of high-end aluminium bicycle frames, working to exacting standards where finish, alignment, and consistency matter just as much as strength.
Key Responsibilities:
- TIG welding thin-wall aluminium tubing for premium bicycle frames
- Producing structurally sound, visually consistent welds to a high cosmetic standard
- Working from detailed engineering drawings, jigs, and fixtures
- Accurate fit-up and preparation of frame components prior to welding
- Maintaining frame alignment and dimensional accuracy throughout the process
- Carrying out visual inspection of welds and identifying any defects
- Working closely with fabrication, machining, and finishing teams
- Contributing to continuous improvement in quality and welding processes
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safety-focused workspace
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 17:00
Pay: Competitive rates, dependent on experience and skill level
