Write and test software using LabVIEW, Python and C+.
Design, specify and develop integrated test equipment, including building of rigs.
Integrate test rig components, including water reservoirs, piping, solenoid valves, proportional control valves, servo-controlled valves, pressure/vacuum sensors and power supply.
Use NI data acquisition hardware and embedded hardware (e.g. Arduino) for test system control, monitoring, and data acquisition.
Diagnose failures, identify root causes and implement effective hardware and/or software corrective actions.
Read, create, and maintain test rig documentation including electrical wiring diagrams and instrumentation layouts.
Experienced in implementing modern manufacturing methods (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing & ATE) and effectively apply them to reduce lead times and subsequently improve quality, on-time delivery and cost to the customer.
Generate/update as required the production BOM's/Routers on ERP system (Sage).
Generate and lead the continuous development of PFMEA's for all products.
Provide suitable and correct information to enable others to perform their duties effectively (process data, jigs and fixture references).
Preparation/updating of new/existing manufacturing process documentation (SOP's) and associated tooling required for product manufacture.
Work within company guidelines and contribute to their development, the objective being to maximise company efficiency whilst meeting customer requirements.
Promote the company Health and Safety policy and practices in all areas of the working environment.
Proven experience within an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
Experience working with Electronics/Programming.
Competent in SolidWorks and designing test fixtures and rigs.
