We are seeking a skilled Electronics Repair Engineer to join our laboratory instrument service and support team. This hands -on, workshop -based role involves refurbishing, testing, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of laboratory equipment to high standards. Key Responsibilities<\/b>

• Refurbish, configure, and thoroughly test laboratory instruments

• Diagnose faults and perform repairs at component and sub -assembly levels
  <\/li>
• Calibrate instruments to exacting specifications using precision equipment
  <\/li>
• Work accurately from technical drawings, manuals, and standard operating procedures
  <\/li>
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment
  <\/li>
• Prepare instruments for online sales and customer delivery
  <\/li><\/ul>

  What We’re Looking For<\/b>
  <\/p>

  • Solid knowledge of electronic and electro -mechanical assemblies
    <\/li>
  • Proficiency in using calibration and diagnostic equipment
    <\/li>
  • Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical documentation
    <\/li>
  • Logical, methodical problem -solving approach
    <\/li>
  • Good IT skills and meticulous record -keeping

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

    Education & Experience<\/b>
    <\/p>

    • ONC/HNC, NVQ, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Instrumentation, Electronics, or related field

    • Experience in servicing, repairing, or calibrating laboratory or medical equipment is advantageous but not essential
      <\/li>
