Air Testing Engineer

Location<\/h2>Old Malton, YO17 (nationwide travel required)<\/p>Salary<\/h2>£26,000 - £29,000 per year<\/p>Employment Type<\/h2>Full -time, Permanent<\/p>Overview<\/h2>An opportunity is available for an Air Testing Engineer to join a friendly and professional team. The role involves conducting air leakage tests on a variety of buildings and contributing to the energy performance documentation process. The position requires travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays.<\/p>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>Perform air leakage testing on site in accordance with industry standards.<\/p><\/li>Record and report test results accurately for inclusion in energy performance reports.<\/p><\/li>Liaise professionally with clients and site personnel to ensure testing is completed efficiently.<\/p><\/li>Maintain testing equipment and ensure calibration standards are met.<\/p><\/li>Represent the company courteously on construction sites of various sizes.<\/p><\/li>Support the team with related services, such as acoustic testing and ventilation commissioning (with training provided).<\/p><\/li><\/ul>Requirements<\/h2>Numerate and capable of understanding basic geometry.<\/p><\/li>Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.<\/p><\/li>Basic IT proficiency, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.<\/p><\/li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.<\/p><\/li>Willingness to travel long distances and stay overnight when required.<\/p><\/li>Full UK driving licence (maximum of 3 penalty points).<\/p><\/li>Experience within the construction industry is advantageous but not essential.<\/p><\/li>Air testing qualification (ATTMA or iATS) is preferred but not mandatory—training will be provided.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>Benefits<\/h2>Competitive salary, based on experience and qualifications.<\/p><\/li>Company van and fuel card provided (home -to -work travel covered).<\/p><\/li>Company pension and sick pay.<\/p><\/li>PPE, mobile phone or allowance, laptop, and broadband allowance.<\/p><\/li>Premium rates available for weekend work where applicable.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/span>
